A Film About Jimi Hendrix

"The original 1973 Joe Boyd biography of Jimi Hendrix has long been considered one of the defining posthumous statements of the legendary artist's magnificent career. The Deluxe Edition features the original 103-minute theatrical film presented in its original 16:9 letterbox format and features a newly remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound audio track. This insightful documentary presents numerous interviews with Jimi Hendrix plus several of his contemporaries, friends and family members including Pete Townshend, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Little Richard, Lou Reed, Buddy Miles and his father James "Al" Hendrix. Interview footage is interspersed with live performance footage from Monterey Pop, Woodstock, Atlanta Pop Festival, Isle Of Wight Festival and many other concert appearances."
